AI workflow agent that turns plain-English instructions into multi-step automations across 1,000+ apps. MCP-native -- runs inside Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT. Free tier; paid plans from $13/mo.

Aident AI is an agentic workflow automation platform that turns plain-English instructions into executable Playbooks across 1,000+ integrations and 23,000+ actions. Built for non-technical users -- describe what you want ('send me a competitor news summary every morning') and Aiden, its AI assistant, drafts a working Playbook with sensible defaults in under three minutes. The product is currently in Beta as of April 2026 -- functional with paid customers, but features and pricing may evolve. Two execution modes: Express (single-agent, fast) and Deep (multi-agent for complex workflows). Triggers run from schedules, app events, Discord, Telegram, Slack, or webhooks. Every Playbook is exposable as a skill or MCP server, so it runs natively inside Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok. Pricing is credit-based and freemium: free tier with 300 credits/month, then Basic at $13/mo, Pro at $41/mo, and Max at $139/mo. LLM tokens and API calls both draw from the same credit pool -- predictable for small workflows, less so at scale. No published SOC 2 or ISO 27001 yet, so not enterprise-ready for regulated industries. Open-source Computer-Using Agent Kit (CUAK) on GitHub for self-hosters wanting transparency. Best fit: founders, small teams, and ops-heavy SMBs replacing manual ops or graduating from rigid Zapier/Make flows. Not affiliated.

Pros & Limitations

Editorial assessment

Pros

  • 1,000+ integrations and 23,000+ actions out of the box -- broader native integration coverage than most agentic workflow tools at this price point
  • MCP-native -- Playbooks expose as skills inside Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok, letting teams trigger automations from the AI tool they already use
  • Open-source Computer-Using Agent Kit (CUAK) on GitHub -- rare transparency for inspecting or self-hosting agent behaviour

Limitations

  • Currently in Beta -- pricing, features, and reliability are still evolving; the product is functional but the company explicitly labels all plans Beta
  • Credit-based pricing pools LLM tokens and API calls together -- predictable for small workflows, harder to forecast cost for high-volume or token-heavy automations
  • No SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certifications published -- small early-stage company, not yet appropriate for regulated industries needing formal compliance
