HireEva is a managed AI operations manager for SMB owner-operators who want autonomous handling of inbox, calendar, invoicing, CRM, and client follow-ups without building or maintaining any technology themselves. Built by ElectricSheep, Inc. in Austin, Texas, Eva is deployed by the team within 24 hours of a single 45-minute onboarding call. They connect the owner's inbox, calendar, CRM, invoicing tools, and messaging apps, then train Eva on the owner's voice and business context. Owners interact with her as they would a human assistant, by text, voice note, or call on WhatsApp, iMessage, SMS, Telegram, Slack, or email. The name stands for Engine for Recursive Advancement. Pricing is fully published across three tiers in USD, with three commitment terms that change the monthly rate. Solo covers one owner, one inbox, and one calendar with unlimited messages and actions: $295 per month month-to-month, $232 per month billed quarterly at $695, or $215 per month billed $1,290 every six months. Biz adds up to 3 users with shared memory, 24/7 AI and human support, CRM and invoicing and calendar sync, custom approval rules per teammate, monthly business reviews, and voice cloning. It runs $495 per month month-to-month, $332 per month quarterly at $995, or $315 per month billed $1,890 every six months. CoBrain is $995 per month billed quarterly and includes 10 seats, with additional seats at $95 each per month. It adds company-wide memory across email, calendar, docs, and invoices, plus Eva operators for follow-ups and scheduling. Owner approval gates cover every risky action, a Watchtower feature catches dropped client commitments, and a reusable skill library compounds weekly. There is no annual term and no free trial. All plans cancel anytime with no contracts, and owners keep their data including exports. What the entry price does not buy is the AI itself. Eva runs on the owner's own LLM provider account, and the privacy policy confirms customer API keys are encrypted on the customer's own machine with no ElectricSheep access, so model usage is billed separately by the provider. The Solo tier also covers a single user only. Architecture is unusually well documented for a company this young. Each customer gets a dedicated VPS with no shared databases and no multi-tenant data mixing, AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS in transit, and SSH access revoked once provisioning completes. The privacy policy states plainly that ElectricSheep does not train AI models on customer data and is never in the data path. On-device speech-to-text and text-to-speech engines handle voice without third-party round trips. Eva and evaOS are proprietary, built on the Hermes and OpenClaw open-source agent runtimes. By default Eva operates in a draft, approve, send loop and waits for owner approval before executing. Approval gates can be disabled per action type or per client as trust builds, which enables fully autonomous operation for routine interactions. HireEva is not the right fit for buyers who need a certified vendor. ElectricSheep holds no third-party certifications of its own. The SOC 2 and ISO 27001 referenced in its privacy policy belong to Hetzner Cloud, its infrastructure provider, not to ElectricSheep. No HIPAA BAA is offered, despite healthcare and dental being its second-largest customer segment. Teams needing high-volume contact center operations should evaluate Intercom Fin ($0.99 per resolution) or Freshchat ($19/mo billed annually). Teams wanting no-code chatbot automation without a managed service should evaluate Chatbase ($32/mo billed annually). Current state Q3 2026: ElectricSheep reports 330 businesses running on Eva as of July 27, 2026, spread across nine segments, the largest being startups and SaaS at 74, healthcare and dental at 52, and agencies at 49. CoBrain is the newest tier. The company was founded in 2025 and remains privately held with no G2, Capterra, or ProductHunt presence, so independent verification of these figures is not currently possible.

Pros & Limitations

Editorial assessment

Pros

  • Done-for-you setup in 24 hours with no technical work by the owner: ElectricSheep connects inbox, calendar, CRM, invoicing, and messaging apps and trains Eva on the owner's voice within one business day.
  • Each customer runs on a dedicated VPS with AES-256 at rest and TLS in transit, the owner's own LLM API keys stay encrypted with no vendor access, and the privacy policy states customer data is never used to train AI models.
  • Persistent cross-channel memory of every client interaction across WhatsApp, iMessage, SMS, email, Slack, and voice, so replies carry context that tools resetting between sessions cannot reproduce.

Limitations

  • No third-party security certifications: the SOC 2 and ISO 27001 cited in the privacy policy belong to infrastructure provider Hetzner Cloud, not to ElectricSheep, and no HIPAA BAA is offered.
  • Very early stage with no independent validation: founded in 2025 with no G2, Capterra, or ProductHunt presence, which makes due diligence hard when handing an external agent your client communications.
  • Steep gap between tiers: Biz covers up to 3 users at $495 per month, and the next step is CoBrain at $995 per month for 10 seats, leaving teams of 4 to 9 without a mid-range option.
