The core differentiator is autonomous task scheduling: Motion analyzes deadlines, priorities, and available calendar time, then schedules tasks into open slots automatically without manual drag-and-drop. When new tasks arrive or meetings shift, the AI reschedules the entire day in real time. Motion serves over 1 million users and is positioned as an all-in-one replacement for separate task managers, project management apps, meeting schedulers, AI notetakers, and document tools. Motion has no free plan and offers a 7-day trial, verified live on usemotion.com/pricing as of July 2026, in US dollars. Pricing is split into Individuals and Teams, each with two tiers. On the Teams plans, Pro AI is $19 per seat per month billed annually or $29 billed monthly, and Business AI is $29 per seat per month billed annually or $49 billed monthly. Solo Individuals plans cost more per user: Pro AI is $32 per month billed annually or $47 monthly, and Business AI is $44 per month billed annually or $67 monthly. Pro AI includes AI Chat, AI Projects and Tasks, AI Calendar and Meetings, AI Docs, Wiki and Notes, AI Task Planner, AI Writer and Editor, unlimited storage, iOS, Android and desktop apps, integrations, and 7,500 AI credits per seat per month. Business AI adds Team Capacity Planning, Advanced Dashboards and Reports, Timeline and Gantt Charts, Time Tracking, Permissions and Access Control, Central Billing, Priority Business Support, White Glove Onboarding, and 15,000 AI credits per seat per month. AI credits are consumed by AI writer, AI chat, and AI summary features, with overages priced at $0.39 per 100 credits on Pro AI and $0.26 per 100 credits on Business AI. Integration coverage extends beyond the initial calendar-centric positioning. Confirmed integrations include Zoom, Google Meet, Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Siri, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zapier, the last unlocking hundreds of additional connections. A public API is available with documentation for creating, updating, and managing projects and tasks. Motion explicitly states it does not train AI models on user data, and confirms its third-party LLM providers, including OpenAI, do not use Motion inputs or outputs for model training. Motion is not the right fit for teams that need a free permanent tier: Reclaim.ai offers a free Lite plan and Clockwise has a free tier, while Motion requires a paid commitment after the 7-day trial, from $19 per seat per month on Teams annual. European teams that require EU data residency cannot use Motion, as all data is stored in GCP Iowa (US-only).
