The facts

Lindy is a no-code AI assistant platform that handles inbox management, meeting prep, scheduling, CRM updates, and multi-step workflows without engineering resources. Each Lindy agent can monitor inboxes, draft and send emails, update CRM records, schedule meetings, research contacts, and trigger actions across connected tools, operating autonomously once configured. Agents are built with a visual trigger-and-action builder and can be chained together, with support for conditions, looping, memory, computer use, phone calls, and human-in-the-loop approval steps. Lindy serves sales, operations, customer success, and HR teams equally. It is a horizontal workflow agent rather than a specialist tool for any single function. Lindy connects natively with hundreds of applications including Gmail, HubSpot, Airtable, Slack, and Zapier, spanning personal assistant, sales, marketing, and customer support categories. Beyond the native catalog, agents can call arbitrary services through HTTP request actions, webhooks, and a code-execution step, which covers most tools that are not natively supported. One notable gap: Lindy does not support the Model Context Protocol in either direction. It does not expose an MCP server that external AI assistants can connect into, and it does not act as an MCP client consuming external servers, which sets it apart from Zapier, HubSpot Sales Hub, and Klaviyo AI, all of which now publish MCP servers. Pricing is a tiered subscription with no free plan. Plus at $49.99/month covers individuals with standard usage, up to 2 inboxes, iMessage and SMS chat, email drafting, meeting scheduling, meeting note taking, and 100+ integrations. Pro at $99.99/month adds 3x more usage than Plus, up to 3 inboxes, computer use, model selection, and a live onboarding session. Max at $199.99/month adds 7x more usage than Plus and up to 5 inboxes for the heaviest workloads. Enterprise is custom-priced for organizations needing admin controls, SSO and SAML, audit logging, and dedicated onboarding. All paid plans offer a free trial with no credit card required, but there is no permanently free tier. Lindy is not the right fit for teams that need specialist depth. High-volume B2B outbound prospecting is better served by Apollo.io (from $49/mo billed annually), Instantly.ai (from $37.6/mo billed annually), or a dedicated AI SDR such as AiSDR (from $250/mo) or 11x Alice (custom pricing), all of which go deeper on ICP-specific messaging and sequencing. Teams that mainly need calendar defense rather than agent reasoning will find Reclaim.ai (from $10/mo) cheaper and more focused. For pure rule-based automation at scale, Zapier (from $19.99/mo billed annually) and Make.com (from $9/mo billed annually) cost far less per workflow, though neither reasons at each step the way a Lindy agent does. Lindy is also not appropriate for teams requiring fully autonomous customer-facing communications without human review. Current state Q3 2026: Lindy holds a 4.9 rating on G2 from 171 reviews, one of the highest satisfaction scores in the workflow agent category, though the review base remains small relative to incumbents. The platform is SOC 2 Type II certified, with the current report dated October 2025, and its trust center also lists HIPAA and PIPEDA. Per its published policy, customer data is not used to train models. The clearest strategic gap is protocol support: as MCP becomes the default way AI assistants reach business tools, Lindy remains outside that ecosystem in both directions.

Pros & Limitations

Editorial assessment

Pros

  • Builds agents for any recurring workflow: email triage, CRM updates, scheduling, and research across all business functions, rather than being limited to one vertical like most AI agents.
  • No-code visual builder means non-technical teams can deploy agents without engineering support, which is genuinely accessible for operations, sales, and HR teams that lack dedicated RevOps or engineering resources.
  • Chains multiple agents together for complex multi-step workflows with conditions, looping, memory, and human-in-the-loop approval steps, going well beyond simple if-then automation.

Limitations

  • No Model Context Protocol support in either direction. Lindy neither exposes an MCP server for external AI assistants nor consumes external MCP servers, which leaves it outside an ecosystem that Zapier, HubSpot Sales Hub, and Klaviyo AI have already joined.
  • Horizontal platform means less depth than specialist tools. Sales teams needing high-volume prospecting will find Apollo.io (from $49/mo billed annually) or Instantly.ai (from $37.6/mo billed annually) more capable for ICP-specific messaging and sequencing.
  • No free tier, and usage limits on lower plans constrain high-frequency automations. Teams running hundreds of daily agent triggers move to Pro at $99.99/mo or Max at $199.99/mo quickly, which changes the unit economics versus dedicated tools.
