Lindy

Lindy is an AI teammate that lives in Slack and works across a team's tools. In shared channels the whole team @mentions one Lindy, and each person also gets a private Lindy in Slack DMs, iMessage and SMS, the web app, and a Chrome extension for Gmail. It triages and labels the inbox, drafts replies in the user's voice, preps and records meetings into a shared meeting library, handles scheduling requests from email, updates CRM records, and builds reports, dashboards and internal pages that it hosts on its own links. Skills are named playbooks, with 40+ built in and custom ones written by the team, and routines run standing work on a schedule or a trigger. Computer use and per-task model selection are included on every plan. Lindy connects to 1,000+ apps by the vendor's count, including Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, Notion, Asana, Linear, GitHub, Zendesk, Stripe and Zoom. It also acts as an MCP client: any hosted MCP server with a public streamable-HTTP endpoint can be added by URL, and Lindy creates an action for every supported tool that server publishes. Lindy does not currently publish an MCP server of its own. Reads from connected tools are never gated. Writes are governed per integration by guardrails set to Always allow, Require approval or Don't offer, and in shared Slack threads anything with outside impact waits for approval by default, with Approve and Deny buttons posted in the thread. Pricing is per user per month in USD, and the pricing page shows no annual option. Plus is $29.99 with 3,000 credits per user, Pro is $99.99 with 15,000 credits (5x Plus), and Max is $199.99 with 35,000 credits (about 12x Plus). Enterprise is quote-based through sales and adds HIPAA compliance with a signed BAA, SSO, audit logs, shared usage with bonus credits, dedicated support, and onboarding. Every seat adds its credits to one workspace pool. Teammates who join through Slack get a one-time 7-day free trial before their seat is billed, and direct signups are billed right away. There is no permanently free plan. Credits refresh each billing cycle and do not roll over. When the pool runs out, Lindy pauses credit-using actions until the next cycle rather than billing overage, so more capacity means moving to a higher plan. Per the vendor, an everyday ask uses 2 to 250 credits, deep work 250 to 1,000, and a large build 1,000 to 2,500. A seat removed mid-cycle stays active until the cycle ends, with no proration. HIPAA with a BAA, SSO and audit logs are Enterprise features. Lindy suits teams that want one shared assistant in Slack for inbox, meeting, scheduling and reporting work. Teams whose priority is high-volume outbound prospecting should look at Apollo.io or Instantly.ai. Teams that mainly want calendar and focus-time scheduling should look at Reclaim.ai. Teams building trigger-and-action automations across many apps should look at Zapier or Make.com, and teams that also work in Microsoft Teams or Discord should look at Viktor. Current state Q3 2026: Lindy is positioned as an AI teammate for the whole team, following the Lindy Assistant launch in February 2026 and Lindy Enterprise in November 2025. Its trust center lists a SOC 2 Type II report dated August 26, 2026, audited by Johanson Group, alongside HIPAA and PIPEDA, and its security page adds GDPR. Lindy states that customer data is encrypted, never sold, and never used to train models. MCP support is client-side, with servers added by URL.
