The facts

Clarm Atlas is a YC-backed governed AI agent platform that lets non-technical teams build dozens of reliable, governed agents grounded in approved sources, permissions, and guardrails. Founded in 2025 by Marcus and Alex, the product has repositioned from its earlier "AI Revenue Desk" inbound conversion positioning to focus specifically on operations, compliance, and customer-facing teams at banks, healthcare organizations, and public companies. The core thesis: most AI chatbot deployments fail because staff re-checks and rewrites every answer, moving work rather than eliminating it. Atlas lets compliance set the approved catalog once, then operators build agents inside those rails without code. Pricing has been restructured: Team at $2,000/month covers one team workspace with unlimited agents, approved building blocks (sources, permissions, guardrails set once), workflow builder and template library, source-grounded answers with citations, human approval before anything reaches customers or systems, and audit trail on every action. Enterprise is custom-quoted and adds tenant-isolated retrieval and storage, BYOK LLM support (Claude, OpenAI, Azure, private, self-hosted), SOC 2 Type II certification, HIPAA compliance with signed BAA, SSO/SAML, self-hosted and air-gapped deployment options, custom integrations, SLA, and data residency. NOTE: As of Q2 2026, Clarm Atlas is currently on a waitlist and not yet generally available. The previous product (AI Inbound Conversion Engine / AI Revenue Desk) with web chat, Slack, Discord, and GitHub channels appears to have been retired in favor of the Atlas platform. Prospective buyers should confirm GA availability before evaluating. Security posture remains strong for an early-stage company: SOC 2 Type II certified, HIPAA compliant with signed BAA, and GDPR compliant on the Enterprise tier. Not appropriate for teams needing a self-serve product today (waitlist only), teams whose primary need is outbound sales automation, or organizations that don't operate in regulated industries where governed AI agents provide meaningful compliance value. Pros & Limitations

Editorial assessment

Pros

  • Governed AI agent architecture designed for regulated industries: compliance sets approved sources, permissions, and guardrails once, then non-technical operators build agents inside those rails without code or engineering support.
  • Unusually strong security posture for an early-stage YC product: SOC 2 Type II certified, HIPAA compliant with signed BAA, on-premises and air-gapped deployment available, no training on customer data.
  • Transparent pricing at $2,000/month for unlimited agents in one workspace: predictable cost regardless of how many agents a team deploys, with audit trail on every action for compliance documentation.

Limitations

  • Currently on a waitlist and not yet generally available: prospective buyers cannot self-serve evaluate or deploy Atlas today, limiting procurement timelines for teams with immediate needs.
  • Founded in 2025 with at least one major product pivot (from AI Revenue Desk to governed AI agents): limited operating track record and no published case studies for the Atlas product specifically.
  • No independent review presence: zero reviews on G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, or Product Hunt, making it difficult for procurement teams to find peer validation during evaluation.
