The facts

hireEZ is an agentic AI recruiting platform that layers automation on top of an existing applicant tracking system rather than replacing it. Operated by HireTeamMate, Inc. (dba hireEZ) and founded in Mountain View, California, it automates research and intake, sourcing and qualification, engagement and nurture, matching and screening, and interview scheduling. The company positions this as a System of Actions built on the ATS a team already owns, and states it is trusted by 70+ Fortune 500 companies. hireEZ was formerly known as Hiretual and rebranded in 2021. Integration is the architectural premise rather than an add-on. hireEZ sits on top of whatever ATS a team already runs, naming Workday, iCIMS, Greenhouse, and SAP directly, and cites 40+ native ATS integrations within a wider set of 50+ integrations. Most customers use it to consolidate four to six separate tools onto their existing ATS. The Platform Foundation Suite provides a database of 1B+ candidates aggregated from the open web and professional networks. hireEZ does not publish an MCP server, so teams running an agent orchestration layer cannot connect to it natively over the Model Context Protocol. Pricing is only partly published. hireEZ states in its pricing FAQ that an individual recruiter begins at $494 per month with a 7-day free trial, but that figure sits in prose rather than a tier card and the page carries no rate table. Enterprise pricing is seat-based yet configured against the cost of the stack it replaces, and hireEZ says it deliberately stopped publishing a flat seat rate because that no longer reflected the product. A stack-cost worksheet on the page uses editable placeholder figures that hireEZ explicitly labels as not its own prices. Enterprise buyers go through a four-week verification on their real workflows before signing. What the entry price does not buy is the enterprise workflow. The $494 solo tier is a single-recruiter entry point, while the ATS integration, agentic scheduling, and analytics that justify the platform at scale sit inside the quoted enterprise configuration. The four-week verification also means time to value is measured in weeks rather than days for any team beyond a solo recruiter. The product suite spans Applicant Match for ranking inbound applications, Applicant Review and Applicant Screening, and an Application Integrity Check that flags manipulated resumes. EZ Agent conducts AI phone or chat screens and coordinates recruiter, hiring manager, and interview panel availability for scheduling. ResumeSense, launched November 2025, adds resume integrity detection for hidden text, prompt injections, and AI-manipulated content; hireEZ reported that 3 to 5 percent of resumes in its own internal testing contained deceptive content. hireEZ is not the right fit for teams with low or sporadic hiring volume, since the autonomous sourcing, screening, and integrity checks pay back against consistent requisition flow rather than a handful of roles per quarter. Teams that want a published rate card should evaluate Workable ($299/mo billed annually) or Ashby ($270/mo billed annually). Teams needing only inbound ATS functionality without a sourcing layer should evaluate Greenhouse (custom pricing) or Lever (custom pricing), and teams wanting sourcing alone should compare Fetcher ($115/mo). Security posture is strong for the category. hireEZ holds SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 (certificate 046937), ISO 27701, GDPR, and CCPA, and carries a TrustArc Data Privacy Framework validation. It also supports OFCCP audits through diversity reporting. hireEZ does not publish a statement on whether customer data is used to train its models. Current state Q3 2026: hireEZ reports 50% lower time-to-fill on revenue-critical roles, 60%+ lower total hiring cost per role, and 2x recruiter capacity, all described as drawn from customer deployments. G2 stands at 4.6 across 264 reviews. No MCP server is published.

Pros & Limitations

Editorial assessment

Pros

  • Layers onto the ATS a team already runs rather than replacing it, with 40+ native ATS integrations covering Workday, iCIMS, Greenhouse, and SAP, so adoption does not require a rip-and-replace migration.
  • ResumeSense and the Application Integrity Check flag hidden text, prompt injections, and AI-manipulated resume content before candidates reach recruiters, a capability few competing platforms offer at all.
  • EZ Agent runs AI phone or chat screens with structured question sets and then coordinates recruiter, hiring manager, and panel availability, removing the scheduling loop that normally consumes recruiter capacity.

Limitations

  • Pricing is only partly published: a single $494 per month solo rate appears in the pricing FAQ, there is no rate table, and hireEZ states it deliberately stopped listing a flat per-seat price, so enterprise buyers cannot compare costs without engaging sales.
  • Enterprise onboarding runs through a four-week pre-signature verification on real workflows, so time to value is measured in weeks and the platform is hard to justify for sporadic or low-volume hiring.
  • No MCP server is published, so teams running an agent orchestration layer cannot connect hireEZ natively over the Model Context Protocol, and hireEZ does not disclose whether customer data trains its models.
