The facts

Linked API is a LinkedIn automation platform that gives teams and AI agents programmatic access to LinkedIn through an API, an SDK, a CLI, an MCP server, and no-code integrations. It is operated by What the Flutter OU, an Estonian company. Each connected LinkedIn account gets a dedicated cloud browser instance with fingerprint matching, configurable rate limits, and behavior simulation. The platform states it never sees or stores LinkedIn credentials, because the user signs in themselves inside the isolated browser. The platform supports 50+ LinkedIn actions across messaging, networking, search, data extraction, and outreach. Standard actions cover connection requests, messages, profile visits, post reactions, comments, and people, company and job search. Sales Navigator actions are gated to the Plus tier. Actions chain into multi-step workflows with conditional logic up to five levels deep. AI agent integration is the differentiator. Linked API publishes an MCP server that connects LinkedIn to Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, and other MCP-compatible clients. It is a server only and does not act as an MCP client. Agent Skills are pre-built autonomous workflows that run inside AI coding agents. The LinkedIn Growth skill imports leads, qualifies them against an ideal customer profile, sends invitations on a scheduled cadence, tracks acceptances, and withdraws stale requests without per-action approval. A CLI and a Node.js SDK complete the developer tooling. Pricing is per seat in USD, where one seat equals one LinkedIn account, and both tiers are published and self-serve. Core is $49 per seat per month billed annually, or $69 month to month. Plus is $74 per seat per month billed annually, or $99 month to month, and adds Sales Navigator actions. Both tiers include unlimited workflow execution, API and SDK access, CLI and MCP access, and the n8n and Make integrations. A 7-day free trial is available on both tiers, and it is a trial rather than a free plan. Volume discounts and custom plans are handled by contacting the vendor through the platform. What the entry price does not buy is Sales Navigator access, which requires Plus. Seats are counted per LinkedIn account, so a team automating three accounts needs three seats, and the cost scales linearly rather than by usage. There is no usage cap on workflow execution on either tier. The safety architecture is the most developed part of the product. Each LinkedIn account runs in an isolated cloud browser that renders pages and executes JavaScript rather than using headless emulation or an HTTP scraper. Fingerprint matching covers operating system, browser version, screen resolution, and language. A stable residential IP from the user's own region is maintained. Timing, mouse movement, and typing patterns are randomized to resemble manual use, and daily, weekly, and monthly caps are configurable per action type. Linked API is not the right fit for teams wanting a full outreach suite with built-in email sequences and multi-channel campaigns. Instantly.ai (from $37.60/mo billed annually) and lemlist (from $55/mo billed annually) provide complete cold outreach platforms with email warmup and inbox rotation. Apollo.io (from $49/mo billed annually) is a broader B2B data and engagement platform with a free tier. The vendor positions itself directly against PhantomBuster, Unipile, Dripify, and Expandi, none of which we currently index. Teams needing only basic LinkedIn automation without API access may find a browser extension more accessible. Current state Q3 2026: Linked API is an early-stage product with strong technical foundations and no independent review corpus. A G2 profile now exists under Other Marketing Software but carries zero reviews and is unclaimed. The Product Hunt listing dates to 2024 and has single-digit engagement. Nothing appears on Capterra or Trustpilot. The vendor publishes no security certifications, and its privacy policy and data processing agreement reference GDPR and CCPA only as jurisdiction and applicability statements rather than as audited compliance. Documentation covers all 50+ actions with integration guides for the major no-code platforms.

Pros & Limitations

Editorial assessment

Pros

  • Publishes an MCP server that connects LinkedIn to Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and Windsurf, letting an AI agent execute 50+ LinkedIn actions directly, which few LinkedIn tools currently offer.
  • Dedicated cloud browser per account rather than shared infrastructure or HTTP scraping, with fingerprint matching, a stable residential IP from the user region, and daily, weekly and monthly caps configurable per action type.
  • Both tiers are publicly priced and self-serve with unlimited workflow execution, plus native n8n, Make, Zapier, Pipedrive, HubSpot and Zoho CRM integrations and conditional logic up to five levels deep.

Limitations

  • No independent review corpus: the G2 profile carries zero reviews and is unclaimed, nothing appears on Capterra or Trustpilot, and Product Hunt engagement is single-digit, so reliability and support quality are hard to assess before paying.
  • We could find no statement from Linked API about LinkedIn's own position on automated access. The safety page documents detection avoidance in detail, including fingerprint matching and a residential IP, but does not address whether this use complies with LinkedIn's User Agreement, so buyers carrying account risk should confirm that independently.
  • Sales Navigator actions are gated to the Plus tier at $74 per seat per month billed annually, and seats are counted per LinkedIn account, so automating three accounts costs three seats and spend scales linearly rather than by usage.
