The facts

Fetcher is an AI candidate sourcing platform, founded in New York and formerly known as Scout, that combines AI talent search, candidate engagement automation, recruitment analytics and curated talent pools. It targets SMB and mid-market in-house talent teams that want a standalone sourcing tool rather than a sourcing add-on bundled into an ATS. Its distinguishing choice is pairing AI sourcing with optional human curation: on the Amplify plan Fetcher's own recruiting experts review AI-sourced candidate lists before delivery, which addresses the signal-to-noise problem that makes fully autonomous sourcing unreliable for precision roles. The platform searches a candidate database Fetcher describes as 1B+ profiles across engineering, finance, product, operations, marketing, sales and customer success. Fetcher integrates with nine applicant tracking systems, verified on its own integrations page in July 2026: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Workable, iCIMS, UKG, ApplicantStack and Avature. Candidates sourced in Fetcher sync into those pipelines without manual re-entry. Built-in email engagement handles personalized outreach sequences and passive candidate nurture inside the product rather than handing off a raw contact list. API access is offered for custom integrations on enterprise plans. There is no MCP server and no public developer documentation, re-verified July 2026. Pricing publishes both billing bases for every tier, which is unusual in this category. Self-Serve is $115 per month on either monthly or annual billing, so the entry tier carries no annual discount at all. Growth is $499 monthly or $379 on annual billing. Amplify is $849 monthly or $649 on annual billing, and adds a dedicated Sourcer covering roughly four to six active roles. The site badges this as saving 30% with annual payment, but the actual reduction is closer to 24% on Growth and Amplify and zero on Self-Serve, so buyers should compare the two published columns rather than the badge. What the entry price does not buy is evaluation headroom. There is no free tier and no free trial, confirmed on both the vendor pricing page and its Capterra listing, so testing sourcing quality at the volume that justifies Growth means paying for it first. Enterprise and agency volume pricing is quoted on request rather than published, which is the one place the otherwise transparent pricing stops. Fetcher is not a full talent acquisition platform. It covers sourcing and engagement but not interview scheduling, offer management or onboarding, so teams wanting one end-to-end tool will run an ATS alongside it and should look at Greenhouse (custom pricing), Lever (custom pricing) or Workable ($299/mo billed annually). Teams that need the deepest candidate coverage for specialized or senior technical roles should also evaluate LinkedIn Recruiter and hireEZ ($494/mo). Teams hiring under roughly ten people a year will struggle to justify Growth against the sourcing volume it produces. As of Q3 2026, Fetcher has raised $12 million in total, through a 2021 Series A led by G20 Ventures with KFund, Slow Ventures and Accomplice participating. Security posture verified July 2026: a SOC 2 Type 2 certification badge is published on the site. Its privacy policy states that Fetcher does not currently use data obtained through its email and ATS integrations to develop, improve or train AI or machine learning models. It reserves the right to use redacted email data for that purpose in future.

Pros & Limitations

Editorial assessment

Pros

  • Pairs AI sourcing with human expert review on the Amplify plan, which addresses the low signal-to-noise ratio that causes fully automated sourcing tools to flood recruiters with irrelevant profiles.
  • Publishes both monthly and annual rates for every tier, so buyers can compare the two bases directly rather than working from a discount badge.
  • Integrates with nine applicant tracking systems including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Workable, iCIMS, UKG, ApplicantStack and Avature, so sourced candidates land in an existing pipeline.

Limitations

  • No free tier and no free trial, confirmed on the vendor pricing page and its Capterra listing, so sourcing quality cannot be evaluated at meaningful volume without paying first.
  • Covers sourcing and engagement only, with no interview scheduling, offer management or onboarding, so an ATS is required alongside it.
  • The no-training position is qualified: the privacy policy says Fetcher does not currently train AI models on email and ATS integration data, while reserving the right to use redacted email data for that purpose later.

On the Amplify plan human experts review AI-sourced lists before they reach the recruiter, while Self-Serve and Growth run without that curation layer. Recruiters decide who advances. Fetcher publishes no autonomous-resolution percentage.
