It enables companies to deploy autonomous AI agents across every customer-facing function: sales development, customer service, marketing campaigns, and commerce, all grounded in Salesforce CRM data via the Atlas Reasoning Engine. Agentforce agents can autonomously handle inbound lead qualification, case resolution, campaign personalization, and order management without human intervention. Over 5,000 companies deployed Agentforce within its first year, including major enterprises across financial services, healthcare, and retail. Pricing has two distinct models plus a free entry point. Salesforce Foundations is a free tier that includes 2.5 million Flex Credits per organization per year, Agent Builder, Prompt Builder, and Data Cloud credits. Beyond the free tier, Flex Credits are priced at $500 per 100,000 credits ($0.005 per credit). Each agent action consumes a metered number of credits. A typical 3-action case management workflow consumes 60 credits. A team handling 3 cases per day across 100 users would spend approximately $1,800 per month. Flex Credits scale across any Agentforce use case. Three buying models are available: Pre-Purchase (pay upfront for the deepest discount), Pre-Commit (commit to a volume with scheduled payments), and PayGo (no upfront commitment, billed monthly in arrears). Conversations pricing at $2 per conversation applies specifically to customer-facing agents on a pre-purchase basis. Employee-facing agent licensing is separate at $125 or $150 per user per month depending on the edition. Digital Wallet tracks usage across both models and is provided automatically at no additional cost for customers with usage-based products. Integration depth: native across the full Salesforce ecosystem including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Data Cloud. Agentforce agents read from and write to any Salesforce object, trigger workflows, update opportunity stages, resolve service cases, and personalize marketing journeys using live CRM data. No external data sync is required because Agentforce is built on the same data layer as the rest of the Salesforce platform. MCP integration is confirmed on the Agentforce platform with three prebuilt MCP servers (Salesforce DX, Heroku, and MuleSoft) and a native MCP client for enterprise-grade orchestration. Multi-Agent Orchestration enables agents to work together as a unified team with shared context across all channels, providing customers a single point of contact so they never have to repeat themselves or search for the right agent. Who Agentforce is not for: companies without an existing Salesforce investment. The new Customer Engagement Agent independently interacts with and qualifies buyers around the clock via website and email, holds natural two-way conversations, and hands off warm leads to sales teams. Momentum captures and structures every customer interaction including calls, emails, and meetings, then writes that data back to Salesforce in real time, giving revenue teams a complete picture of every deal without changing how reps work. Gemini model support has been added to Agentforce alongside existing model options. Voice-enabled agents are now available in Enhanced Chat v2, and Agentforce supports 24 additional languages in beta. The Foundations free tier includes 2.5 million Flex Credits per organization per year with PayGo billing available for teams that want no upfront commitment.
