looot is a pay-per-call gateway that connects AI agents to third-party data providers through one key and one prepaid balance. It is operated by AY Automate LLC, a Wyoming company. A connected agent can search a catalog of more than 2,000 endpoints from more than 70 providers covering email and phone finding, people and company enrichment, web search and page extraction, scraping, SEO and SERP data, social platforms and trends, ad libraries, market data and media generation. The vendor states that the catalog changes every week. Providers named on the vendor's homepage include Hunter, Exa AI, Tavily, Diffbot, Bright Data, People Data Labs and DataForSEO. Every run returns the provider's raw response, a normalized form and a receipt of what the call cost. An optional fallback setting moves a run to the next provider of the same job when the first one misses or fails, within an attempt limit and a cost cap the agent sets. looot connects through a remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in, listed in the official MCP Registry, as well as a CLI installed from npm, a REST API and an agent skill file. The vendor's setup guides cover Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Cline, Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, Grok and ChatGPT. Beyond read-only data, users can connect their own Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Calendar and Google Drive accounts so an agent can send email, update spreadsheets and manage events and files, and can add their own keys for providers such as HubSpot and lemlist to create CRM records and update outreach leads. Users can also bring their own key for catalog providers. looot is prepaid in USD with no subscription, no seats and no contract. The homepage sets the minimum top-up at $5, and the balance does not expire on a billing cycle. Each endpoint is priced per call or per result, and the price is shown before the run: catalog search returns an estimated price for every endpoint, a run reserves a hold from the balance, and it settles at the actual cost with the unused part returned. A call that fails at the provider costs $0. Example rates on the pricing page are $0.0265 per result for Hunter email finding, $0.009 per call for Exa search, $0.0032 per call for Diffbot article extraction and $0.002 per lookup for IPinfo. Published prices include looot's fee on operations that run on looot's own provider keys, and operations that run on a user's own provider key carry no looot fee. Catalog search, price inspection, balance checks and run history are free, but there is no free plan and no trial credit, so every paid operation needs a funded balance. Some endpoints are marked as needing the user's own provider key because looot holds no key for them yet. Each provider call sends its inputs to that provider under the provider's own terms, and looot stores the inputs and outputs of every run in the workspace's run records. looot suits developers and growth teams who run coding agents or AI assistants and want live enrichment, SEO, scraping and social data paid per call from one balance. Teams that want to run an open-source gateway of this kind on their own infrastructure should consider treg.to. Teams whose agents mainly need to take actions across a large catalog of business apps with managed OAuth should consider Composio. Sales and marketing teams that want to build enrichment waterfalls in a shared table workspace should consider Clay. Current state Q4 2026: the MCP server is listed in the official MCP Registry as ai.looot/looot and on Smithery. The CLI is published on npm as looot. The terms of service, privacy policy and data processing agreement, each last updated 2 October 2026, are marked as drafts under legal review, and the vendor's security page states that looot holds no SOC 2 or other third-party compliance certification. The vendor's changelog records the dashboard, sign-in and landing page rebuilt in mid-September 2026.

Pros & Limitations

Editorial assessment

Pros

  • ✓Every endpoint shows its price before the call runs, and a call that fails at the provider is charged $0.
  • ✓One key reaches more than 2,000 endpoints from more than 70 providers through an MCP server listed in the official MCP Registry, a CLI and a REST API.
  • ✓Users can bring their own provider keys with no looot fee, and can connect their own Gmail and Google Workspace accounts so agents can act as well as read.

Limitations

  • –There is no free plan or trial credit, so every paid call needs a funded balance, with a $5 minimum top-up.
  • –The terms of service, privacy policy and data processing agreement are marked as drafts under legal review, and the vendor states it holds no SOC 2 or other third-party certification.
  • –Each provider call passes its inputs to that third-party provider under the provider's own terms, and looot stores the inputs and outputs of every run.
