RingFoods is an AI voice agent for restaurants, built by Ring AI Inc. of British Columbia, Canada, which also markets a general-business sibling called RingOperator. It answers the restaurant phone around the clock, books reservations against live availability, answers menu and hours questions, and on higher tiers takes takeout and delivery orders. The agent auto-detects the caller's language and replies in it, transferring to a human only when a caller needs one. Every plan also provisions a public booking page for the restaurant carrying online reservations, a waitlist and a feedback form. Integration depth is native and narrow rather than broad. The vendor names Google Calendar for availability and booking, Twilio for telephony, Gmail, OpenTable, and four point-of-sale systems: Square, Clover, Toast and Lightspeed. There is no public API, no Zapier or Make connector and no MCP server, so the integration set is whatever the vendor has built. Pricing is published in full and is self-serve at every tier, in US dollars. Basic is $100 per month with 200 included minutes and $0.35 per additional minute. Professional is $200 per month with 500 minutes and $0.30 per additional minute. Enterprise is $300 per month with 1,000 minutes and $0.25 per additional minute. SMS messages are billed separately at $0.15, $0.13 and $0.10 each. There is no annual rate. The terms state that subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis, with no setup fee and no long-term contract. What the entry price does not buy is material. Basic covers reservations, caller questions and the booking page, but order taking, point-of-sale integration and every outbound calling feature sit on Professional at $200 per month. Outbound covers automated cancellation calls, AI waitlist offer calls and follow-up campaigns. A restaurant buying mainly to take phone orders is buying the $200 tier rather than the $100 one. It is not built for businesses outside food service, which the vendor directs to RingOperator, and not for buyers who need an API or want to build their own integrations. Service is limited to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Current state Q3 2026: the product is generally available, with a live dashboard offering US East, US West and Canada West regions. A 90-day free trial is running, branded a Summer Special, against a vendor-stated 30-minute setup. Prices are denominated in US dollars, established from the vendor's own structured data and its affiliate payout terms, even though the company is incorporated in British Columbia. The vendor publishes no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 attestation and operates no trust portal, and it does not disclose whether customer call data is used to train models. No independent review corpus exists: the Capterra and GoodFirms profiles both carry zero reviews.

Pros & Limitations

Editorial assessment

Pros

  • Publishes all three tiers with included minutes and overage rates, and every tier is self-serve with no sales gate.
  • Acts without per-action approval, booking against live calendar availability and placing outbound cancellation and waitlist calls on higher tiers.
  • Runs a genuine multi-region production dashboard with US East, US West and Canada West, alongside a 90-day free trial.

Limitations

  • Order taking and point-of-sale integration require the Professional tier at $200 per month, double the $100 entry price.
  • The vendor does not publish how many languages the voice agent supports, naming only Mandarin, Spanish, French and Arabic as examples. Its published 9-plus language figure covers menu OCR only.
  • No independent review corpus exists. The Capterra and GoodFirms profiles both carry zero reviews as of August 2026, so the listing shows On Our Radar rather than a score.
