RingOperator is an AI phone agent from Ring AI Inc. that answers inbound calls for small service businesses around the clock. It books appointments straight into Google Calendar, answers questions from a business-specific setup, captures feedback, blocks spam calls and transfers to a human when a caller needs one. Each account also gets a free hosted business page with online booking, a waitlist and a printable QR poster. The vendor offers 10 neural voices and states support for more than 30 languages, and sells into the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Ring AI also publishes a sibling product, RingFoods, aimed at restaurants. Integration depth is narrow. Google Calendar is the only named third-party connector on any public surface. There is no public API, no developer documentation and no MCP server, re-verified August 2026 across the site, the privacy policy and the terms. Telephony is handled by number forwarding, so an existing business number can be kept. Pricing is public, self-serve and in USD, confirmed by the vendor's own structured data. Starter is $25 per month with 100 call minutes included and $0.25 per additional minute. Growth is $100 per month with 500 minutes and $0.20 per minute. Scale is $300 per month with 2,000 minutes and $0.15 per minute. SMS is charged at $0.20 per message on Starter and $0.15 on Growth and above. Billing is month to month with no contract and no annual option. New subscribers get a 30-day free trial under section 7 of the terms, which waives the base fee, overage and SMS charges and ends at 30 days or when the included trial minutes run out. The entry tier buys 100 minutes and a single phone number. A salon taking 200 calls a month will pass the Starter allowance and pay overage at the highest per-minute rate of the three tiers, so the effective cost tracks call volume rather than the headline price. Advanced call features such as cancellation notification calls, waitlist offer calls and follow-up campaigns sit on Growth and above. This is not a fit for a buyer who needs a CRM connector, an API, a published security certification or independent proof. Ring AI holds no SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA attestation and publishes no data processing addendum. Its privacy policy commits to handling data under the GDPR, PIPEDA, CCPA and CPRA, Australia's Privacy Act and New Zealand's Privacy Act. It also states that it does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. That is a jurisdictional commitment rather than a certification. The product has no profile on G2, Capterra or Product Hunt and names no customers anywhere. A Summer Special advertising three months free on all plans was running at the time of verification and is stated to end on August 31, 2026. The standing offer is the 30-day trial. Current state Q3 2026.

Pros & Limitations

Editorial assessment

Pros

  • All three tiers are publicly priced and self-serve, with a 30-day free trial that needs no credit card.
  • Included minutes and the per-minute overage rate are both published for every tier, so cost at volume is predictable.
  • Each account includes a hosted booking page, waitlist and QR poster at no extra charge.

Limitations

  • Google Calendar is the only named integration. There is no CRM connector, no public API and no MCP server.
  • No profile exists on G2, Capterra or Product Hunt, and the vendor names no customers, so there is no independent evidence.
  • No SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA attestation is published, and there is no data processing addendum.

Autonomous rateRingOperator answers inbound calls, books appointments and qualifies callers with no per-call approval, and transfers to a human when the caller needs one. The vendor publishes no autonomous resolution percentage and names no customers, so no outcome figure is recorded here. The booking and revenue figures shown on the homepage sit inside a product mockup and are not customer results.
