h2oGPTe is H2O.ai's enterprise agentic AI platform. H2O.ai positions it as a multi-agent platform that combines generative and predictive AI, with air-gapped and on-premise deployment options. Its agents handle multi-step work such as web research, data modeling, database access and iterative code execution, and can generate multi-page PDF reports with charts, tables and flowcharts along with the source code behind them. Document AI produces schema-driven JSON from contracts and other source documents, audio and vision models extract data from recordings, images and handwritten documents, and citation-based retrieval links each answer back to its source documents. Guardrails, PII controls and routing across LLMs are built in. In a June 24, 2025 press release, H2O.ai reported that its h2oGPTe Agent ranked first on the GAIA benchmark for general AI assistants with 79.7% accuracy, against the 92% that humans score. H2O.ai had first topped the GAIA leaderboard in December 2024, at 65%. h2oGPTe acts as an MCP client: its agents can use local and remote MCP servers as tools, and the documentation covers third-party servers including Hugging Face, n8n, Playwright and PowerPoint. H2O.ai also publishes an official h2oGPTe MCP server, a separate package that lets external clients such as Cursor and Claude Desktop reach h2oGPTe through its REST API. H2O.ai's partners include NVIDIA, Dell Technologies, Deloitte, EY, Snowflake, AWS and Google Cloud. Pricing is custom. H2O.ai publishes no pricing page, and the product page routes buyers to a contact form. A free h2oGPTe iPhone app gives mobile access to the platform for teams that already use it. H2O.ai's trust center lists SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022, along with FedRAMP High, HITECH and IRAP. The FedRAMP Marketplace lists that certification for H2O.AI for Government, a separate H2O.ai Cloud edition hosted on AWS GovCloud and certified at Class D (High) since April 16, 2026, so this listing does not carry the FedRAMP badge. H2O.ai's privacy policy states that it does not use customer content to train or improve its AI models, except for the benefit of the applicable customer. H2O.ai was founded in 2012 and says its open-source technology is used by more than 20,000 organizations, including more than half of the Fortune 500. Customers it names include AT&T, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Singtel, Chipotle, Workday, Progressive Insurance and NIH. H2O.ai reports that AT&T cut call-center costs by 90% with H2O and that Commonwealth Bank of Australia cut scams by 70%. Gartner named H2O.ai a Visionary in its June 2026 Magic Quadrant for AI Platforms for Data Science and Machine Learning, its fourth consecutive placement. For self-serve research rather than an enterprise deployment, Elicit (from $49/mo billed annually) and Consensus (from $12/mo billed annually) cover academic literature, and Perplexity AI (from $17/mo billed annually) answers questions from the live web with citations. Developers who want web search for their own agents can start with Exa AI (from $4 per 1,000 search requests), and teams that want a general-purpose assistant can use ChatGPT (from $8/mo) or Claude. Current state Q4 2026: H2O.ai joined the Open Secure AI Alliance in August 2026, announced a sovereign AI partnership with CAN.B Group in Australia the same month, and completed an IRAP assessment at the PROTECTED level for Australian government use in September 2026.
