Valory AI is a managed AI receptionist for Australian service businesses, operated by Evolving Technologies Pty Ltd of Brisbane (ABN 72 654 819 128). The agent answers inbound calls around the clock, captures leads and quote requests, books appointments or jobs where the call flow allows it, and routes follow-up context to staff by SMS, email or direct transfer with the urgent-versus-queued rules set by the customer. The commercial model is done-for-you rather than self-serve, and the vendor states that plainly: "You approve the flow. We build it." Every plan includes a discovery workshop, call-flow design, voice and knowledge base setup, calendar and CRM integration work, test calls, launch monitoring and ongoing tuning. Go-live is quoted at 3 to 5 business days. There is no signup path and no trial to start on your own - engagement begins with a booked walkthrough - but the customer does get a login and a performance dashboard once live, and the agent, not a person, answers the calls. Pricing is published in Australian dollars across four tiers: Intro at 149 per month with 100 voice minutes and 50 SMS, Core at 299 with 250 minutes and 150 SMS, Premium at 499, and Enterprise from 1,299. Outbound calling is a 99 per month add-on on the lower tiers. Allowances are metered rather than capped, with voice overage published per tier at 0.90, 0.70, 0.50 and 0.30 per minute and SMS at 0.10 per message, so exceeding an allowance costs money rather than pausing the agent. A setup fee applies on top, quoted from 990 and varying with scope. The vendor advertises no lock-in and a money-back guarantee. Integration is calendar-and-CRM shaped rather than developer shaped: Google and Outlook calendars, booking tools, CRMs and webhook workflows, configured by the vendor during onboarding. There is no public API and no Model Context Protocol surface - both terms return zero across the vendor own 53,656-character llms.txt reference - so this is a product an operations team buys, not one a developer builds on. On security the vendor publishes AES-256 encryption at rest and in transit, documented access and retention controls, and alignment with Australian Privacy Act 1988 obligations. It claims no third-party certification, and none is asserted here. Outcome evidence is thin and entirely first-party: three named case studies on the site, against an unlinked and uncounted claim of a 5.0 Google rating and no presence on any independent review platform. Current state Q3 2026: the four published tiers and the from-990 setup fee were read on 21 August 2026, and the vendor's own machine-readable reference is stamped 10 August 2026. Pricing is in Australian dollars, confirmed in the pricing page structured data rather than inferred from the symbol. No G2, Capterra or Trustpilot profile exists, and the 5.0 Google rating advertised on the homepage carries no count, no link and no profile we could find by search, so the editorial rating on this listing is withheld pending third-party evidence.

Pros & Limitations

Editorial assessment

Pros

  • Unusually complete price disclosure for a managed voice product: every tier publishes its voice-minute and SMS allowance, its per-minute overage rate, and the outbound add-on, and the setup fee is disclosed on the same page rather than discovered on a call.
  • The rollout is the vendor's job and is included on every plan - discovery workshop, call-flow design, voice and knowledge base setup, calendar and CRM integrations, test calls and ongoing tuning - with go-live quoted at 3 to 5 business days.
  • Built for one jurisdiction and specific about it: a Brisbane operator with its ABN published, AES-256 at rest and in transit, and access and retention controls written against Australian Privacy Act 1988 obligations.

Limitations

  • The headline price is not the entry cost. A setup fee applies on top of the monthly rate, quoted only as from 990 and varying with scope, and the top tier is also a from price. Voice minutes and SMS are metered, and exceeding an allowance is charged per minute rather than pausing the agent.
  • The privacy policy permits training on customer call data. It says the vendor relies on aggregated or de-identified information for model improvement wherever reasonably practicable, and that cross-customer training happens only on aggregated or de-identified data. Wherever reasonably practicable is a qualifier rather than a guarantee, and no opt-out is described.
  • There is nothing for a developer and nothing independent to check. No public API and no MCP surface exist and the product cannot be started self-serve. The homepage advertises a 5.0 Google rating, but it carries no review count, no link to the profile and no rating markup, we could not locate a review profile by search, and there is no presence on G2, Capterra or Trustpilot, so the three case studies on the vendor's own site are the only outcome evidence you can inspect.

Autonomous rateThe agent answers every inbound call unattended, captures the enquiry and books into a connected calendar where the flow allows it, with no per-call human approval. What a human approves is the call flow itself, once, during onboarding. Follow-ups are routed to staff rather than closed by the agent. No autonomous task-completion rate is published on any first-party surface as of 2026-08-21.
