Sardine is an agentic risk platform for banks, fintechs, crypto companies, payment providers and merchants. It combines device intelligence, behavior biometrics, consortium data, rules and machine learning for fraud prevention, KYC and KYB onboarding, sanctions screening and AML transaction monitoring, and runs AI agents on top of that data. Sardine says more than 450 customers have access to its AI agents.

The agents cover fraud and compliance operations. They include a Rule Assistant Agent that drafts detection rules from a plain-language description, a Data Analyst Agent, a Graph Analyst Agent that maps links between devices, emails, phones and accounts, an OSINT Search Agent, a Business Due Diligence Agent for KYB research, a Doc KYC Agent, sanctions and PEP screening agents, a Dispute Filing Agent and a SAR Generation Agent that drafts suspicious activity report narratives. Agent Hub, launched in September 2026, lets analysts chat with an agent in the dashboard, attach one to an alert queue so it runs on every new alert, schedule recurring runs and evaluate an agent before changes go live. Custom Risk Agents are built with Sardine's forward deployed engineers around a customer's own procedures, and Sardine Flow chains agents, APIs, rules and human review in no-code workflows.

Sardine connects through its API and SDKs, including a JavaScript SDK and mobile SDKs for device signals. Named integrations include FIS, whose bank environments run Sardine's agents, a two-way integration with Infinite announced in July 2026, a Modern Treasury partnership announced in June 2026 and a Notabene partnership for crypto Travel Rule compliance announced in September 2026. Sardine's Agent Hub announcement places API invocation of agents and MCP-based connections to customer-owned systems on its roadmap.

Sardine does not publish prices. Plans are quoted by its sales team, and its Custom Risk Agents page describes usage-based pricing with dedicated forward deployed engineer support. Sardine does not publish its contract terms.

There is no self-serve plan or free trial on Sardine's site, and its technical documentation, API reference and Customer Training Academy require a customer login. Agent availability varies by Sardine environment and region as regional infrastructure rolls out, per its Agent Hub announcement.

Sardine suits risk, fraud and compliance teams at banks, fintechs, crypto companies and payment providers that want fraud prevention, onboarding checks and AML monitoring on one platform, with AI agents handling alert reviews and investigations. Teams whose priority is security operations alert triage rather than financial crime should look at Torq.

Current state Q4 2026: Forrester named Sardine a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Financial Crime Management Solutions, Q3 2026, alongside SAS, SymphonyAI and Visa. Sardine launched Agent Hub on September 14, scheduled Agent Routines on September 21 and Sardine AI Labs with $375,000 in research fellowships in October. Its AML agents page states a 75% auto-resolution rate for enhanced due diligence and business verification work, and Sardine reports that in one bank deployment agent decisions matched sampled human reviews 99.9% of the time. Its trust center lists a SOC 2 Type 2 report, PCI DSS SAQ A, DORA, GDPR, CCPA and CPRA. Sardine has raised $170 million.
