The facts

Feedzai is a financial crime prevention platform for retail and commercial banks, payment service providers, merchant acquirers, core banking providers and government agencies. Its RiskOps platform covers transaction fraud, scam prevention, account opening and account takeover, KYC and customer due diligence, AML transaction monitoring and watchlist screening. Feedzai says banks, payment networks and acquirers use its technology to protect more than one billion consumers and $9 trillion in payment volume a year.

Farol, launched on September 24, 2026, is the AI agent inside Feedzai RiskOps Studio. It launched with four skills. Risk Strategy analyzes rule sets, flags rules that generate noise without catching fraud and recommends thresholds. Investigations retrieves and summarizes alert data for analysts. SAR Drafting builds a draft Suspicious Activity Report from case data. Knowledge answers questions about the platform from product documentation. Feedzai describes Farol as augmenting analysts, with agents surfacing insights and recommendations with their reasoning and analysts deciding what action to take. Farol runs within each financial institution's own environment.

Feedzai's platform includes no-code rules, self-service model deployment, Feedzai Orchestration for account-opening decisions, and Feedzai IQ, a network intelligence service drawing on its payments data. Named integrations and partnerships include Jack Henry, whose Financial Crimes Defender platform is powered by Feedzai, a screening partnership with Neterium (February 2026) and a fraud prevention partnership with IT Smart Systems (September 2026). Feedzai lists Bring Your Own Agent, which would connect a customer's own AI agents to Feedzai's data and workflows, as an upcoming capability.

Feedzai does not publish prices. Its How to Buy page asks buyers to request a quote for account opening, account takeover, AML transaction monitoring, KYC and customer due diligence, transaction fraud or watchlist screening. Feedzai does not publish its contract terms.

There is no self-serve plan or free trial on Feedzai's site, and buying starts with a quote or demo request. Bring Your Own Agent and proactive risk insights are described as upcoming rather than available.

Feedzai suits fraud and financial crime teams at banks, payment providers and acquirers that want fraud, scam and AML controls on one platform, with an AI agent that speeds up investigations and rule tuning while analysts keep the final decision. Teams that want AI agents running on alert queues and schedules across fraud, KYC and AML operations should look at Sardine.

Current state Q4 2026: Feedzai launched Farol on September 24, 2026, with SEB quoted in the launch announcement, and unveiled RiskFM, a tabular foundation model for financial risk, on March 24, 2026. Feedzai reports a 20% reduction in alert handling time from Farol's Investigations skill and SAR drafts up to 12x faster. Its Ethical AI Policy cites PCI DSS Level 1 and ISO/IEC 27001 certifications and a SOC 2 report.
