Hyper is an autonomous software engineering platform from ASI Flow, Inc. A developer states an objective, and Hyper turns it into a reviewable plan of goals, tasks and acceptance criteria before any code runs. Each session runs in its own isolated cloud sandbox with a live preview and a terminal, and the work lands as branches and pull requests in the connected GitHub repository, or as a published site with a share link. Tests and browser flows run inside the sandbox and are recorded in a verification ledger, and Autopilot mode runs a multi-task plan in dependency order, re-running each task's checks in a separate verifier session before counting it done. Approvals gate deployments, merges, secrets and spending beyond the caps the owner sets, and costs stream live while the work runs. A session starts on a GitHub repository, connected through the GitHub App or a user token, or in a blank sandbox with a repository attached later. It exposes an Agent API with OAuth 2.1 and a REST v1 interface described in OpenAPI 3.1, Python and TypeScript SDKs, an A2A endpoint and two MCP servers: a public read-only server and an authenticated server that lets an outside agent delegate engineering work to Hyper. In the other direction, users can install MCP servers from a curated catalog that includes Context7, Playwright, Supabase, Notion, Firecrawl and Higgsfield, or connect a custom remote server, and more than 150 hosted OAuth connectors let the agent act in tools such as Slack, Stripe, Linear, Jira, Discord, HubSpot, Salesforce and Zendesk. Through the GitLab and Bitbucket connectors, the agent can also branch, commit and open merge or pull requests in repositories hosted there. Pricing is published in US dollars. The Free plan is $0 with no card required and includes $5 of model credit a month. Pro is $20 a month with $20 of included credit, Team is $30 a month for one shared subscription and invoice with $30 of credit, and Max is $70 a month with $70 of credit. Ultra at $100 a month and Apex at $200 a month replace the dollar meter with rolling five-hour and weekly usage windows at ten and twenty times Pro usage. Annual billing is ten months for twelve on every paid plan, so Pro is $200 a year, or $16.67 a month. Purchased credit packs do not expire with the month. The Free plan's $5 monthly credit is its usage ceiling, and an account that is not yet verified can spend up to $1.50 a day until a $0 card check, a GitHub connection or 48 hours of clean use lifts the limit. On every plan, frontier models are metered at the provider's price against the included credit, and a session stops at the cap set before it runs. Hyper suits developers, founders and small teams who want to hand an agent a whole objective and get back tested pull requests or a published site within a budget they set in advance. Teams that need to self-host the agent and run it on their own model keys should look at OpenHands. Enterprises that need a vendor already holding SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification should look at Devin. Developers already working in Cursor who want cloud agents on the same subscription should look at Cursor Cloud Agent. Current state Q4 2026: Hyper launched publicly on Product Hunt in July 2026 and ships through a public changelog, most recently on October 7, 2026. ASI Flow states that SOC 2 is on its roadmap and ISO 27001 is planned, and that customer code is not used to train models.

Pros & Limitations

Editorial assessment

Pros

  • ✓Every plan publishes its price and included credit, and each session runs under a hard spending cap with costs shown live.
  • ✓Tests and browser flows run in a sandbox and are logged in a verification ledger, and Autopilot re-checks each task before marking it done.
  • ✓Two MCP servers, a REST API, Python and TypeScript SDKs and an A2A endpoint let other agents delegate work to Hyper.

Limitations

  • –Verification covers what tests and browser flows can observe: ASI Flow states that it does not prove business correctness.
  • –No SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification yet: ASI Flow lists SOC 2 as on its roadmap and ISO 27001 as planned.
  • –Independent reviews so far are two on Product Hunt, and the vendor labels its published benchmarks as small-sample.
